We were really pleased when we found this pub. Its in the middle of nowhere on an A road, although about 15 mins drive out of the city centre, so not a complete mission to get to. I assume the bar is propped up by people staying in the hotel rooms, as its always really quiet inside. Its got a really nice traditional pub feel to the bar area, the staff are friendly and the food is really good. They also allow dogs inside, which is perfect if you've got one or have friends visiting like we do.
